About the Designer

    Mona Smith became a member of Gilda’s Club NYC while undergoing treatment for early-stage ovarian cancer. After successfully completing treatment, her husband, Alan urged her to take time to explore her talents.

    She rediscovered her interest in making jewelry with classes at the 92nd Street Y and, hoping to increase awareness for Glida’s Club NYC, started a business creating a line inspired by the distinctive, red clubhouse door.

    Ten percent of sales will be donated to Gilda’s Club NYC in order to give back to the organization that helped her when she needed it most.
