Gilda’s Club New
York City opened it’s signature red door in 1995 as a place
where people touched by any type of cancer and their families
and friends can come to learn how to live with cancer, whatever
the outcome.
No one has to face cancer alone at this
non-residential cancer support community named for comedian Gilda
Radner. Members are men, women, and children who join with others
to build social and emotional support as an essential supplement
to their medical care.
Gilda’s Club New York City provides
a model program of Customized Membership with support and networking
groups, lectures, workshops, and social events – all in
a warm, home-like setting and at absolutely no charge to members.
